What regulator is best suited for my needs?
I’m an advanced certified scuba diver and i’m finally starting to buy the more expensive gear. I need a good quality durable regulator for recreational diving (130ft. Max) for use in fresh and salt water. I prefer the brands Scubapro or Aqua Lung . I have a price range between $400 and $600(CAN). Please tell me the model number and brand name of a regulator that meets this criteria and I will conduct further research. Thanks.
Looks like you are an experienced diver. Go to the scuba diving magazine website http://www.scubadiving.com. From the tabs select the gears, and then you will a selection for regulators. They provide excellent reviews for regulators, based on features, functions, durability, ease of use, type of construction, and of course price comparisons are part of the review as well. The brand names you prefer are definitely included there for comparison.
I think you will like the reviews and make your own choices, and just may be switch to a different brand name. Good luck, and happy diving.
